synergy

just came back from the synergy conference.. i think it was good.. not fantastic but good.. especially today.. oh man.. i knew i was going to perspire so i wore perfume but when the sweat and perfume mixed together, the smell wasn't that great.. haha.. oh well.. im home already.. nice and clean.. yup..
day 1 was bad.. i dunno y.. culture change i think.. pple were jumping around, loud music.. crappy sermon.. the songs were fun, but somehow i dun feel God's presence.. its like going to some typical 5566 concert, with pple saying XIE ZI WO AI NI.. whoever that is (quoted from chrystal).. jumping and lifting hands high seemed to be futile but then again.. someone told me not to rely on feeling the HS so much, but rather trust that God is with us.. so ya.. went on ahead to worship without restrain.. the last part of it was really cool.. i totally fell in love with that song called.. rain down on me.. i think.. the pple who were praying in tongue adds on to that holy atmosphere and ya.. hair was standing at its end.. erm.. not because of my gel la.. haha.. i wasn't really uncomfortable with the tongue thingy.. the presence of the Lord was eminent and ya.. the feeling that i was looking for thruout the concert.. Yeah!! few things that i dislike bout the first day.. firstly, they din pray before they start worshipping.. i know i can pray by myself but shldn't they give god the glory and invite his presence as a congregation first.. personal view.. no offence.. secondly, they did quite a few solos and i tout it was rather inappropriate.. its like snatching the glory from god.. once again.. personal view.. lastly, the music was blasting.. so L O U D!! tts bout it i reckoned.. jeremy is cute la.. haha.. he's so quiet and innocent.. likes to talk to him.. he's quite poor thing.. went for the concert alone.. all his cg members play him out.. so he's the only sec 1 guy that was present.. PTL for him..
day 2.. everything improved.. all my dissatisfaction was eradicated.. the music wasn;t that loud.. they planet shakers prayed.. solos wasn't that irritating as i tout it heightens the ambience.. so ya.. it was all cool.. met keith earlier at 5pm.. i was rushing down la.. cuz i dun wanna be late.. tried my best but was like 3 mins late.. at least i tried.. from clementi to bugis isn;t that near.. i asked practically all of my classmates for the fastest route to get there and make sure that i got on the correct train.. kerhui tout i was meeting my gf or something.. crap la.. just dun wan to be late wad.. we went ard walking aimlessly.. dunno where to go, so just strolling ard bugis juntion wasting time.. suppose to meet mich at 5.30 but she wasn;t there.. she din haf a phone and therefore we couldn't contact her.. went ard to the 3 exits at the mrt to see whether she's waiting elsewhere but she wasn't.. walked outside the control but she wasn;t there.. then keith called nat and ya.. nat said that she left house like 20 mins ago.. and u dun need 40 mins to reach bugis thats when we started panicking.. i am not suppose to be late but we can't just abandon mich here ya.. anyway.. after 35mins of waiting, we went into the station and there she was, smiling at us and ya.. said that she waited for almost half an hour at the automated gate.. tt means we were waiting for nothing.. haha.. the night concert, played the same music but somehow, god's presence was stronger this time after wad the pastor said.. bringing and cultivating god's presence.. it really works.. there's no other way other than asking Him for it.. tithing.. the malaysian pastor compared us with the malaysians there about how generous they were.. i wasn;'t affected by that comment cuz i dun give cuz i wanna win them.. quite lame.. i dun think its right too.. anyway.. i din wanna give cuz its not my money.. wadeva i give, i can just claim back so its quite rubbish.. i wun feel the pinch.. yup.. on our way back, we sang some songs during camp which was quite fun.. haha.. so cool.. mich and keith missed that pink hair host.. too bad for them.. haha.. went back with cheryl and chrystal.. had fun chatting.. talked bout mob and everything..
day 3.. met mich and keith at 4pm KAP.. we studied there.. as in me and mich.. keith was slacking.. haha.. erm wait.. he gave mich ting xie.. had a good laugh there.. the way he pronounce certain words.. niao niao.. haha.. and the dunno wad pooot.. haha.. i dragged joyce to the concert and ya.. she somehow rededicated her life to GOd.. backslided but back again.. YEAH!! so happy for her.. all glory goes to God.. the concert rite.. that pink hair guy is the host again.. haha.. everyone thinks he's weird.. his actions and stuff.. amy teo thinks he's either a dancer or a gay.. haha.. that bad la.. anyway.. God's presence is so strong today.. and ya.. shan;t really talk bout it.. anything can ask me.. going to talk on the phone for the first time since school starts in jan.. haha.. wonder who is that lucky person..
oh yah.. before i forget, really thank god for this conference cuz my relationship with mich got back on track i think.. started talking to her again.. and its really like last time whereby we spent so much time on the phone in church and stuffs.. i guess i really neglected her as well as some other pple in church.. im sorry kk.. mich u are still my best fren in yf.. yup.. love all of u lots..
