para para pui!!

last weekend was pretty okay. i didn't think it was very exciting and fun but it was erm, better than my attachment.
sat i reached church earlier to slack around since all the nice cartoons will end at 1.30pm. i took 10 mins to prepare and im off to church. i dressed up a little cuz i needed to go for my sec school concert band performance at vch. so ya. alot of pple in church said i looked like an ah beng with that beady necklace. so i took it off for the time being. anyway, the service was good. the youth speaker spoke about missions but i can't remember what he touched on. so ya, was obviously late for concert which was suppose to start at 5.30pm and the time i left church was like 5 pm. took a taxi there and along the way, ivena called me to pick her up at her place so made another loop and ya. she was quite easy to spot cuz of her size as well as the color that she wore on that day (pink).
outside vch, talked to my conductor abit. nv talked to him for like almost 2 years already. sigh! really miss those times that i was still in band. all the practises and the fellowship with my friends. the hard work became very fulfiling during concerts where all our sweat and blood were transformed into beautiful music. the applause and the glamour at that time when my batch of musicians got a Silver award during our first competition. YEAH!! oh well.
my juniors seemed pretty impressive now. looking at how much they have grown really encourages me. and most importantly, the sec 2s this year actually remember my name when i only taught them twice. that is really very sweet. haha.
after the performance, went to cartel (raffles place) for dinner. the service is pretty fast. we waited for 2 mins for the food. impressive! food there taste normal but the ambience is phenomenal. as it was ivena's b dae, we bought her a birthday cake but i couldn't eat it cuz it was a cheese cake. anyway, i took a bite since it was my buddy's b dae and ya. the cheese smell wasn't that heavy but i dun really dare to eat more than a bite. some psycological issues i suppose. bleah.
after dinner, it was stil early. we really din wanna go back so fast so we took mrt to douby ghaut for a karaoke session. the place is above cold storage, beside p center. the cigarette smell there was bad. but dun care! the price is fantastic. free entrance cuz they are having promotion. just have to buy drinks. we bought honey since its good for our throat and yup. sang alot of funny songs until 2am.
as for sunday, went for lunch with edwin, mich, nicholas and some others. its been really a long time since i last had lunch with them (edwin and mich). i was obviously filled with joy, sitting with them and crapping. the queue was quite stagnant but thats not the point.
at the arcade, nicholas challenged me for a game of para para and thats what we did. it was freaky. i wonder how pple can enjoy playing such games. bleah.
managed to clear the first three rounds set at the easiest level. failed the last one. went home after that.
erm.. thats bout it.. lazy to carry on. and btw.. christina thanks for reminding me. hahah
