buddy u rock man!

weekends were great but too short as usual. i played drums for service on sat. the rehearsal and the actual thing were like completely different. i think i played too loud again, but i like it. christina's friend think i am a great drum player. i thought it was pretty funny cuz that day i know i didn't do very well. the focus wasn't there. as my confidence level increases, the dependance on Jesus decreases. something like cause and effect. now i must really remind myself the reason for serving--> issit for God or personal glory. are the pple blessed by the music or they are simply there to watch a live band perform? Joel Yong once told me that drumming is to help pple to worship better. i seemed to be totally lost in my own playing that i forget pple are around me.
the sermon by dave was good. in fact, i like the way he preached. no matter how tired i am, i won't fall asleep. during the talk, i was looking around for someone but i dun think that person was there. kinda disappointed but erm. that person came anyway. haha. Praise the Lord!
CG time was terrific. each gp was asked to lead a discussion topic. after which, we had the opportunity to ask qns and discuss together. this is the kinda discussion that i think the whole cg was looking for. something that is more in depth. discussions were alive for once! i am not saying that doreen is not a cg leader. i assure u, she is! just that her qns make us think alot and after that we got lost to the point whereby we forgot the qn. yup. we were so engrossed in the discussion that we completely forgot bout going back downstairs. our discussion ended like at 6.15pm.
after TM, i went up for dance!! its fun to dance especially with all the guys. this time round, there were an overwhelming response. so many pple came. i think all of us did a good job. by the end of the session, all of us could do the interlude. during the whole dancing, i felt like a clown cuz i did alot of stupid things as usual. i can't help it i guess. haha. it is just eerm.. me and my personality. Pamela told me to tone down a few times but but i dunno how to. seriously i felt that if this year dun havoc abit, next yr i won't so ya.
dance ended around 9pm. after dinner, it was like 1030pm already. it was pretty late but i still have to do my planning for MOB evangelistic outreach. i almost forgot about it. thanks to my Buddy who smsed me and ask bout my progress. haha. u rock dude! the guys in MOB are incredibly close now. thank god for that! i think i told the whole world that but seriously, i can't help it. haha. its just too good to be true. and ya. its true. wad am i talking about? haha. oh well.
Sunday
the service was pretty interesting. it spoke to me abit, the part about the temptations in particular. i always blame Satan bout all the temptations that i faced. i nv tout that actually sometimes its me who get myself tempted due to my sinful nature. but thats not the point. the point is that God teaches us obedience via temptations.
MOB training was quite scary. we had a speaker, Daniel, who spoke bout spiritual warfare. the things that he covered were kinda freaky. but the good news is that we have the power over the devils as long as we have faith in God. cheryl asked whether we could see them. that struck me. i dun think i will want to see them la. imagine wherever u go, there's this headless thing flying around u, with blood stains all over. frankly speaking, i am quite timid when comes to such things. pple who bunked with me should know. i always hide under the blankets when they were talking bout ghost stories.
after the talk, we had refreshments cum thai language lessons. two new words learnt
1)phut, pronounce as poot --> meaning: speak
so when i say mai poot, it means don't speak
2) There-air (buzzer sound)--> meaning: but
erm erm. after the MOB, we went jamming. lazy to update the rest already. anyway, during dinner, it was really cool. we had tze cha together for the first time, at the coffee shop one min away from my house. haha
