medical checkup
...written on Monday, Jan. 03, 2005, @ 5:00 p.m.
i skipped school today to go for the medical checkup at CMPB. thanks ivan for reminding me to bring a book to read. the waiting time was horrible. i had like 20 mins interval at almost half of the nine stations. i seriously think i chose the wrong time slot.
the people there (NS guys) were pretty friendly i must say, quite different from the way i picture them to be. ob cuz, there are bound to have exceptions. these pple are the ones we should really avoid. at station 6, which is the body checkup, there was this malay joker with a heavy malay accent. he tried to crack jokes but no one seemed to understand him. anyway, before we proceed on to the lockers, he warned us not to litter, if not we will be sent to somerset mrt station, wearing a CWO tag and pick ip rubbish. its kind of out of point la!
i shan't continue on this medical check up already. too lazy to. alrite. the next thing i would like to address is that.. ah hem!!
BGR in yf is getting more and more serious. in fact, its the leaders of YF that are involved in it. i am not saying that dating is wrong but don't u think that at this age, we are not ready yet? i think some of u should really spare a thought for young believers around u. people who look up to u. because of certain actions, u cause your fellow brothers and sisters in christ to stumble. is that right? is that what being a leader is all about? i hate to interfere in this but hey look, u guys should really wake up! wgat happen to all the big talks and criticism that u gave to others who went straight into the love trap? some of u were disgusted, some of u said having a relationship now is stupid. what have u got to say now? pastor dave asked people to talk about BGR every year. all of us said that it was boring because every year they say the same thing. is it necessary? if u all know about the dangers and disadvantages of having a relationship now, y didn't u do anything about it?
in 5 years time, who can gurantee that the relationship u all are having now can last? in this relationship, will it strengthen your faith or will it simply drag u down? having a relationship requires commitment. commitment needs time. can u afford that? if u all can juggle with relationship with God, studies as well as your partners, then i got nothing to say. as a christian, a relationship such as this is based on GOd. our focus must be on Him. it is by moving closer to GOd that improves the relationship between both of u.
anyway, do what u want with your life. i think u all are sensible enough to make the correct choice. wadeva u choose, just dun regret it. when we became a christian, our lives are no longer ours. it is God's. i hope tt before u all continue on this relationship, u will seek the approval of God first.
btw, dun be offended by wad i've just said. everyone got their own views on things!
