fame and glory VS friends and fellowship

eliel suffered from food poisoning yesterday. i got to know it only like 1130pm because my phone was offed. i was quite disappointed at the fact that auntie sharon only called amy and amy to chris. i was like out of the picture? oh well....
amy wanted to ask me to go visit eliel today all the way at boon lay. too bad eliel got work to do so ya, according to amy, he didn't want any visitors. i spent my entire day studying. it was fruitful. i conquered FOURIER'S SERIES. heh. u are going down! see what education will do to u, it makes u mentally unsound. anyway, i tried to play maple story awhile ago but i can't log in. its written: ... something about updating of personal info. so now i'm kinda stuck cuz that time i came up with a secret qn (name of my pet). i can't remember the answer to it so ya. my account died that very instant.
i have been thinking about NS recently, whether would i go for OCS, try to get sword of honour, climb as high as possible etc or should i just remain a normal cadet (that is if i have the choice). the feeling of being a high ranking officer is indeed appealing, but at the same time, there must be certain sacrifice, for example time.
with time, i can choose to fellowship with my friends especially my cg, i can enjoy their company and vice versa. i can spend time with my family, have dinner together and have the luxury of being pampered.
with those badges and ranks, i can lift my head up high, let my aura blow pple off, command respect from pple. i have a high pay and i get to slack for the rest of my army life.
each has their pros and cons. both are equally attractive but the answer seemed to be pretty obvious to me. the problem is, can i reject the title and fame that is before me when the time comes? often enough, a guy's pride will take control of the mind and will therefore do stupid things and make dumb decisions.
hmmmm. thinking of who should i bunk with now. dunno whether the mob guys are bunking together. the problem lies with eliel. is he gonna be with elisha? heard that the resort will be super duper nice. with private beach, huge pool and erm big rooms. haha. looking forward to it.
